I am a PhD student pursuing research in the areas of crime, migration, women’s empowerment, and resilience. I have a passion for exploring contemporary social issues and human experiences. I enjoy looking at problems—whether juvenile delinquency, the challenges and experiences of student mothers, discrimination, or environmental and individual stressors—and discovering solutions to build strength, capability, and wellbeing in people and communities. I believe in an interdisciplinary approach to tackling complex societal challenges. With determination and perseverance, I aim to conduct high-impact research that can inform policies and practices for building a just, equitable, and sustainable world. I look forward to working with faculty and peers to advance scholarship in my areas of interest.
