I’m passionate about connecting data science and computational methods with social analysis. I am currently exploring how digital technologies can help us uncover new insights into political polarization and social change. My goal is to bridge rigorous research with meaningful public conversations, sparking ideas that lead to smarter, more compassionate policies.

I’m currently focusing on anti-migrant animosity in Mexico as host country, examining the mechanisms that contribute to polarization and public attitudes toward migrants. Key questions include how international ideological spillovers shape animosity and how social media amplifies or mitigates polarization. The study employs text analysis, network analysis, and mixed methods to analyze large amount of online data. Expected contributions include advancing sociological understanding of anti-migrant animosity, demonstrating innovative computational methods, and informing policy interventions to address polarization.
