The Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Office (SRSDO) offers the Sustainable Development Goals Action Fund, which encourages CUHK staff and students to develop creative and actionable projects which actively respond to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations.

【第三屆“創不同”種子計劃現正招募】 MaD Incubator JUL-DEC
尋找大專院校學生或17至26歲的changemakers！
MaD School第三年舉辦的“創不同”種子計劃（MaD Incubator），一直支持年輕人踏出社創的第一步。社區問題不止於紙上談兵，更可落區進一步發掘持份者需要；再運用創意發展小型創新項目，說不定可以解決社區問題！
本屆MaD Incubator將連結更多社會創新者與參加者共學，並增設社創項目的體驗，藉此開拓年輕人對社會的理解與想像。有意參加的年輕人可自組2–4人的隊伍，就“都市自然生態”或“人文社區”的主題提出初步構思。入選隊伍將參與連場社會創新工作坊和社區探索，逐步發展及改善計劃藍圖。獲選進入最後階段的隊伍，更可獲港幣16,000的種子基金、支援網絡及導師一對一指導，在多方資源協助參加隊伍於社區中實踐計劃。

Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge (HKSEC)

– Organized by the Center for Entrepreneurship of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, sponsored by Home Affairs Bureau
– Aims to accelerate the growth of youth-led SEs
The HKSEC Academy aims to support the growth and professional development of HKSEC alumni and other young social innovators. In this series of 12 webinars, the participants would be able to update their knowledge and deepen their understanding in wide ranging topics such as Fintech, Social Impact Measurement and Climate Change etc. This knowledge as well as skills could further equip them for their social innovation and entrepreneurship journey.
The webinars would take place every other Tuesday from 17:30 to 18:15 via Zoom, from 10 May to 11 Oct 2022. If you are interested to learn more about social innovation and social entrepreneurship, grasp this opportunity and register now to meet and learn with like-minded people!

Future 17: Sustainable Development Goals Challenge Programme (2021-22 completed)
Future 17 is a new global initiative offered by the University of Exeter and Quacquarelli Symonds Limited (QS) in the UK with participation from leading international universities. It is designed to support students to develop skills needed for tackling 21st-Century global challenges through working with industry and academic mentors as well as peers from around the world to create innovative solutions for real-world issues associated with one or more of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Future 17 will enable students to work with their peers from a consortium of partner universities in international, interdisciplinary and multicultural teams through projects defined by SDG Challenge Partners (businesses, charities, governments, NGOs, etc.).

Upon successful completion of the Programme, a CUHK undergraduate student could apply to the Office of University General Education for course and unit exemption in the University General Education (University GE) requirements. Following the prevailing practice and framework of granting University GE course and unit exemption, as in the case of a student completing a course in a recognized student exchange programme, up to 3 units in the most approximate University GE Area from among Areas A, B, C or D could be approved depending on the nature of the Future 17 project.

第8屆中國國際「互聯網+」大學生創新創業大賽
中國國際互聯網+大學生創新創業大賽(下稱「互聯網+」) 首辦於2015年，每屆均極受重視，更被媒體喻為「全球最大最好的路演平台」，7屆賽事吸引了來自121個國家和地區的4,347所院校，多達228萬項創業項目參加。「互聯網+」涵蓋範圍寬廣，項目內容方面，囊括了資訊技術、文化創意、生物醫藥、節能環保、教育培訓、先進製造、社會企業等範疇，從造福民生社會到改變世界；參賽者方面，不僅包括在讀大專生、研究生，還包括畢業5年內的畢業生。香港特別行政區代表隊仍然領跑「港澳台地區」，於去屆勇奪3項金獎、9項銀獎及12項銅獎（銅獎毋須現身總決賽）之佳績。成績令人鼓舞！

第九屆「創青春」粵港澳大灣區青年創新創業大賽—香港地區選拔賽 現已接受報名!
(科技創新賽道; 互聯網賽道; 鄉村振興賽道)
